The Behemoth Class Battlecruiser is one of the primary ships used by the Commonwealth of Independent Systems, and formerly Polsk. The Behemoth Class is the CIS' well rounded, all purpose ship of the line. Having seen service since the early 200's, the Behemoth is one of the oldest spacecraft designs still being used. They can fill a variety of roles, namely fire support, carrier operations, planetary operations, and ship to ship combat. The Behemoth continues to see upgrades to prolong its service to the CIS, with the latest advancement being the Behemoth IV class, equipped with a Voidspace Drive. Behemoth classes are also built to be very self sufficient, being able to go years, even decades without stopping to resupply. Recently production has been outsourced to Aeternus Shipyards for the Behemoth-III Variant.
