World Infections are a collection of multiple distinct species which share the common characteristic of being capable of infecting planets, slowly spreading through them and assimilating the terrain itself into themselves. They vary on intelligence, with some being sentient and some not, alongside many in between.

Documented World Infections

There are 5 currently documented World Infections. All of them vary on how much they have infected, and the power they wield.

Biocrimson

Biocrimson is a mutated subspecies of The Biomass which was created due to a the biomass having all of its brainbytes eliminated, leading to the remaining parts of the organism to go rogue and start converting ground into itself. Biocrimson is very susceptible to Crystine and Specialised Bioweapons, which can be used to prevent its spread.
