Marcel Mostow, previously known by his archon name Triton, was the CEO of the Northern Bank, one of Theia's largest companies by revenue. Formerly, but also concurrently, he was the Cryo Archon and the God of Freedom, who ruled over Treimaria before the Cataclysm, even enduring the cold as Theia hurtled through space. After his reawakening, he took on his human alias and begun a human life while concurrently wielding his divine power to preside over the modern nation-state of Tritonien from the shadows, until he ultimately lost his power and died at Anor Londo in 239 CE.
An eccentric billionaire by all definitions, Marcel was famous for his wit and his personality, seen as a charming figure among many across the planet. Originally hailing from the planet Yata thousands of years ago, the High Priests of Gensokyo stated that fate had led him to "search among the stars for his destiny", leading him to planet Theia where he became the archon of Treimaria after his divine awakening enduring the cold. Consolidating his power, he created the second nation, Treimaria, only a few years after his fellow archon Tenno created Gensokyo, and only a few years before Pilirin founded Baiame. Founding his nation on the principle of freedom, he sought to bring about Tenno's ideal of peace, but without the restraints of border closure, basing Treimaria on the principle that everyone was welcome. Triton got on especially well with fellow archon Varuna, yet had his moments with Tenno, though they bonded over their mutual distrust towards Aireskoi, God of War. Influential across both Yata and Theia, Triton was the namesake of Tritonien and is erroneously considered the namesake of Tritonia.
