Sadiym is a planet located in the Center Rim, and is an integrated member of the Empyrium. It is a system world under the direct authority of the Emperor. It is the only planet in the Sadiym System, and orbits the Sadiym Pulsar, a significant radio source in the local space. The surface lacks distinguished continents, and is dominated by shallow seas and numerous small islands. It is a hot and humid planet, but annual rainfall does not meet the criteria for it to be considered a tropical planet. Out of the worlds ruled under the Imperial System, Sadiym is one of the richest, safest, and most prosperous. Many expect the planet will become a free world soon, pending the approval of the Authority.

The planet is situated due west of Vector A, which, under the Empyrium border policies, is the primary gateway to all of Greater Empyrium for outside travellers (plus the Aclede system.) As such, it is home to the headquarters of the Imperial Border Force, who are responsible for managing the collective's tight border policies and security, while also serving as the Empyrium's unofficial gendarmerie.
