After finding a large deposit of oil and iridium within its eastern borderlands, the [[Theian Germanic State]] enacted a period of largescale expansion into the region all the way up to the [[Savalon River]]. [[Aeternus]] was contracted to provide oil refineries and extraction equipment, which were funded by allowing [[Aeternus Mining]] to set up extraction sites in the country and accepting Aeternus' infrastructure support packages focused on import/export logistics. An Aeternus contractor known as '[[Olymp Constructa]]' began setting up the mining camps and orbitally-dropped equipment, with roughly one drop-pod arriving every 5 hours until 3 camps were completed.
