This involved disabling seven kilometre-long, highly manoeuvrable atmospheric craft known as "engines" which, when aligned vertically, functioned as pylons that generated a secondary shield around Asophania - the location of the primary shield generator.		For a period of 4 years, no one entered or left the planet, leaving behind a mostly desolate wasteland left behind by war. The Insurgency ended when [[The counter-Insurgents|Andrei and Cormac's team]] escaped Yata, enabling Theian armies to fly back to Yata to recapture it following the disabling of the shields. Additionally, the team brought intel on the mysterious nation of [[Omnistat]] as well as information regarding the plague pandemic which ultimately instigated the recapture of Yata. As a result of the recapture, Yata was resettled, thus beginning the [[Third Yomtach Genocide]].
