	Broodlings are a species of large venomous spiders found in the [[Honeycomb Insulation]]. Approaching them is discouraged due to their venom, thus protective clothing is always recommended. They are similar to real life Brazilian Hunting Spiders in appearance, however they're much larger despite the low levels of oxygen in the [[Honeycomb Insulation]]. They are different from spiders in reality due to their eusocial behaviours, hives, cocoons and metamorphosis. === Behaviours ===
Broodlings commonly move in packs of 20-50 and usually stick around their Hives. Inside said hives are most likely their queens. Agitating them or getting too close to them will cause the pack to lunge at you with immense speed, usually biting you with their venomous fangs which will cause death within 20 minutes if not treated. This can be treated with common anti-venom or [[Brood Repellent]] which can be found in the [[Honeycomb Insulation]].

=== Biology ===
Broodlings are nearly indistinguishable from just being a large normal spider with a exception of their large venom glands and life cycle., They start off as a Broodling Larvae however these have never been directly observed or recorded. They then enter a cocoon and transform into their adult form which is the most common and observed form. In this stage they have a chance to become a Queen Broodling which will build a new hive somewhere within the [[Honeycomb Insulation]].

Broodlings were discovered soon after the discovery of the [[Honeycomb Insulation]]. With many deaths due to the lack of knowledge of their behaviours and venom.
