In the year of 307 a meeting of the citizens of Infinitopolis was called, with the aim of creating a independent government for the city separate from informal [[SDSB]] rule. This meeting area became known as The Council, which agreed in favour of this idea, declaring the City State of Infinitopolis as the Backrooms' first sovereign nation state.

===First Election===
In early 311, the first election was called and several voting booths were set up around the city centre area. The turnout of the total population of the city was roughly 80%, concluding in a victory for [[Arthur J. Valentine]] of the [[Liberal-Progressive Party]], whom was sworn in as the first Premier of the City State.
