 The primary function of the legislative branch is to create and pass new bills into law, which is done via the two main houses; the Commonwealth Assembly and the Lower Assembly. Each member states has 10 Senators to represent them in the Commonwealth Assembly, adding up to 170 seats. Each state gets 20 representatives in the Lower Assembly, adding up to 340 seats. The Lower Assembly is tasked with creating new bills and passing them onto the Commonwealth Assembly to be approved and passed to the President in the executive branch, whom has the power to pass the law or veto it back to the legislatures.
