The Executive Branch is the President and their cabinet, who is elected via popular vote for a 5 y ear term with no reelection. These positions must be approved by the Crimswon Council with a 60% of more vote in favour.

Adytium lacks proper political parties, instead having 3 main 'political factions', the [[Militarist Faction]], the [[Cooperationist Faction]] and the [[Isolationist Faction]]. The Militarists are very nationalistic and moderately conservative, the Cooperationists are pro-SDS and progressive, and the Isolationists are primitivists, theocrats and agrarians.

The Adytian Government<ref>(more specifically the Crimson Council)</ref> has representation within the [[United Occult Initiative]] as a member organization, due to its previous membership in one of the UOI's predecessors, the [[SDL Coalition]].

== Society ==
Adytium's society is fairly patriotic and religious, with a vast majority of the nation being religious and holding their sacred teachings to be the truth. The society fits the definition of "Neo-Crimsonism", implementing modern technology into the society instead of just the more primal flesh manipulation which comes with the Crimson Faith.

Adytium has universal healthcare, this being among the cheapest out of any healthcare systems in the entire world due to flesh manipulation.

== History ==
the precursor to Adytium was discovered on 321 by the [[SDS Foundation]], before then it existed as an isolated commune of [[Crimson Faith|Crimsonists]] in the jungles of [[Grand Jalakia Island]]. Due to the size of the group, the SDS Foundation decided to take a diplomatic approach with the commune, and in the process decided against wiping them out like it has done with most Crimsonist groups. [[Mobile Assault Squadron]] members were sent as escorts for diplomats sent to Adytium, to make an agreement. This went surprisingly well, leading to the signing of the [[Treaty of Adytia]], which permitted the existance of the Crimson Republic of Adytium aslong as it didnt share knowlege of its anomalous activities and restricted tourism alongside special access to the SDS Foundation. These actions were considered wrong by the [[Church of Mekhane]], a [[The Mechanical Church|Mechanicalist]] Sect which opposes Crimsonism, but they were reassured that Adytium is peaceful.

In 324 Adytium began taking on large loans from international banks, and used them to create the Coastal Highway and M35 highway, the 2 fully developed highways in the nation. Following this economic development, the SDS Foundation allowed Adytium to begin limited international trade in 328 allowing it to enter the international market.

In 344 Adytium allowed the SDS Foundation to construct a series of covert installations within its territory.

In 346 Adytium agreed to hold secret negotiations with the [[SDL Coalition|SDL]] regarding its status as a protectorate of the SDS Foundation near the village of [[Kojakajma]] in Adytium's western holdings. These negotiations were successful, as the UOI agreed to become an ally of the SDL against the SDS Foundation.

In 352 the Militarist Faction won the Adytian elections, drawing them closer to the SDL although straining their relations due to the SDL's hesitance to launch an attack against the SDS Foundation.

In 361 the UOI, formerly the SDL, and Adytium were fully prepared to launch an attack against the SDS Foundation in Adytium, beginning a largescale military conflict against the SDS. The war was increasingly deadly until the UOI and Adytium eventually managed to overpower SDS Forces, forcing them to pull out in 365.

In 402 Militarist Politician [[Tulpeledysh Mamaeva]] was elected as the new President-Šamaani.
