The '''Dead Church''' is a [[Liminal Sub-Space]] within the [[Backrooms System]] that takes the form of a large church building situated in a vast frozen, dead, and desolate field with the only notable structures or natural features within it beyond the church itself and various dead plants. The entire sub-space is in a state of perpetual coldness that can often bring the risk of hypothermia to those that venture here, having its temperatures vary from -15°C to -25°C, although despite this there is no snow, only a thin layer of frost coating the plants.

Due to its frigid temperatures and lack of resources the Dead Church has no permanent population, instead only hosting a population of roughly 0-6 transitory visitors at any given time which rarely if ever have a extended stay within the sub-space instead of rather quickly moving through it to the next sub-space (Itself being a rare occurrence due to the dangers found in the only sub-space it leads to).
