It is the oldest SDS facility to be constructed within the Backrooms and was used during the initial phases of the SDS' dimensional portal technology's development. Until 366 the facility was open to civilian travel and operated as intended, which changed once [[Dimensional-Site-99|its companion-facility]] on [[Theia]] athat functioned as the other side of the portal was seized by the [[United Occult Initiative]], which Site-99B reluctantly maintained connection to in order to keep civilian transit open, which came to an end in 427 once SDS forces launched an attack on the UOI-controlled site, severing the connection. {{SDSNavbox}}
