[[HAWK]] sent a modified [[Type 2 Craft]] into the [[Char System]] in order to investigate the [[Zerg Overmind]], using a method known as 'Cloned Positioning' to distort the craft's position in the [[Noosphere]] by placing multiple atomically identical crafts in other locations in order to prevent focusing on a singular one at once in order to avoid detection from the [[Zerg's]] telepathic link. Observing [[Char]], HAWK noted that it had multiple moons and a lot of junk in orbit from an unknown civilizations. HAWK's attempts at remaining hidden weren't very successful due to '[[Zerg Overseers]]', a hyper-aware caste possessing a form of 'biological sensors' allowing it to feel Psionics with an incredibly accurate level, which when combined by their infrared+ultraviolet vision and capability to feel magnetic fields, gave them exceptional awareness.
