The '''Honeycomb Insulation''' is an [[Liminal Spaces#Types of Liminal Spaces|Enigmatic Sub-Space]] within the [[Backrooms System]] that takes the form of a long and winding attic space that seemingly surrounds [[The Lobby]]. This attic is full of various boxes and crates alongside an assortment of random furniture items such as tables, chairs, and beds. The walls of the space is mainly composed of sticky wooden boards that hold back fibreglass behind them, upon the boards large spiderwebs are a common sight. While the space is typically not ''that'' dangerous, it still is home to several threats such as bad air quality which may prove hazardous to those with breathing difficulties and the [[Broodlings]], whom are a species of Venomous Spiders that thrive off of the occasional burst pipes in the roof of the level that drip down water and other unidentified fluids onto the Space's floors.

== Demographics ==
The Honeycomb Insulation, due to the lack of resources and difficult to inhabit climate, only has a small population of roughly 5-30 transitory visitors at any given time within it. These visitors tend to be wanderers who just ended up in The Lobby that came across an entrance to the Insulation without being aware of its desolate nature. Apart from [[humans]], the Honeycomb Insulation is home to countless Broodlings, whom reside in a series of eusocial hives spread out across the space.
