The '''Imperial Yakamotian Abnormal Incidents Division (IYAID)''' was the [[Minguk-Yakamoto#Armed Forces of Minguk-Yakamoto|Armed Forces of Minguk-Yakamoto]]'s official Anomalous Research, Containment<ref>It must be noted that IYAID was not focused on "containment", instead it is focused on whatever it deems best for its goals.</ref> and Weaponisation agency. It was founded in 352 following recent tensions amongst anomalous organizations, leading to [[Yakamoto]] seeking security from any threats that may come from this much like the [[UMB-Paradivizion]] formed a few years prior. IYAID's main purpose was to contain and research anomalies discovered throughout the [[Minguk-Yakamoto|Imperial Federation of Minguk-Yakamoto]] and its allies, with the goal of understanding them better, and possibly weaponising them to secure the sovereignty of Yakamoto. Following the destruction of Minguk-Yakamoto, IYAID was de jure dissolved, although many of its former operatives continued to covertly continue their duties for several years.

== Operations ==
IYAID had already begun investigations into the paranormal and anomalous, researching, containing, terminating and weaponising several objects it deems vital for its mission, alongside forming several regiments of loyal IYAID soldiers such as the "Special Operations Division" and "IYAI Medical Unit". The first major act of IYAID was to seize all anomalous assets within Yakamoto and its colonies, regardless of protests from those it is seized from. These assets are then processed in IYAID's facilities in order to make use of certain anomalies for its own interests.

IYAID asserts it is a sovereign organization serving the interests of the Empire of Yakamoto, and has stated it will refuse to join any major "Paracoalition" such as the [[SDL Coalition]] and [[Accord Occult-Force]]. In order to further safeguard this IYAID had influence in the Yakamotian Government to prevent it from signing any such agreements. This influence additionally allowed IYAID to operate fairly independently compared to many of its contemporaries.

IYAID had several undercover intel personnel in other anomalous organizations, with the aim of learning more about their operations and para-assets. They have proven to be extremely successful, being very difficult to detect in their operations.
