	The ''''January 2023 Reforms'''<nowiki/>' were a significant change in how [[Main Page\|YATA Lore]] was to be run which were announced on the 3rd of January 2023 in an attempt to revitalise the writing project after significant decline and lack of interest towards the latter half of 2022. The reforms first changed up the discord by hiding several unused channels (which had been moved to the Wiki) into an archived category that required a reaction role to see, and opened up YATA Lore to invites while maintaining a closed vetting system for the [[YATA Minecraft Server]], as its channels now required a special role. The most significant change was that Lore and Minecraft were separated, with all countries now no longer being tied to in-game builds and territories and now being entirely written and fictional subjects which wouldn't affect in-game builds if they changed. The primary reason was that most Pre-2023 Wars saw very minor changes despite their significance as people didn't want to 'give' their builds to other nations, leading to many arguments especially in 2020.
