The current conservative government in [[Libatria]] grew increasingly unpopular, eventually leading to the formation of the dissident '[[Free Libatria Movement]]' dedicated to freeing Libatria itself and the rest of the world from corruption and authoritarianism, prompting a significant government crackdown which backfired as FLM paramilitants began to fight back quite effectively, eventually inspiring them to launch a full-scale revolt. The FLM spread out rapidly, encircling and capturing the Libatrian capital of [[Monrovia]], soon leading to the rest of the country being occupied as the government was imprisoned. After the war, the FLM seized power and abolished the '[[United States of the Gold Coast]]', instead replacing it with the '[[Free Libatrian Republic]]'.
