	William and Jared decided to investigate New South City due to the advanced technologies that were being developed there, entering the abandoned city. Distant metallic crumbling caught their attention, leading to them discovering that a patch of the [[SDS-024\|Tendrils]] was responsible, so Jared decided to slice a piece off to taste it due to it being like a mushroom, only for the facility to shake violently leading to them deciding against this as to avoid making the facility fall on themselves. After moving away from the Tendrils they came across a large chamber with a strange device which was labeled as something used for Teleportation, so it likely wasn't very helpful. William and Jared went deeper into the Asolab, eventually finding a hallway which lead to a room with a control panel and a swirling mist behind a window. Jared jokingly slapped the control panel, prompting it to shake and ask for a portal location to be input as the mist grew denser. William and Jared typed in the 'Backrooms', leading to a bright light which caused the glass to shatter as the mist contorted into a portal which emitted a strong wind. The two descended with a rope they ordered from Amazon into a massive circular chamber with a large ring structure, mechanical claw, and laser emitter built into the walls. All of the machinery was clearly aged and dusty, leading to them worrying that the plan would fail due to the damage, prompting Jared to smack one of the claws in order to activate it. Sparks shot out of the claw once it was hit, which made it begin twitching and moving, prompting Jared to smack all other pieces of machinery within the facility until a control panel with buttons, a lever, and a battery hatch opened up. They ordered triple a batteries (which were specified as the needed ones due to another employee having been accidentally using double a, which prompted an annoyed note). Once batteries were inserted, a ding and start-up sound played as rainbow-coloured lights flickered on the control panel, allowing William to brush of fthe dust from the buttons on the control panel which said "Power On", "Cycle Power", "Activate Assembly Claw", "Deactivate Assembly Claw", "Activate Assembly Laser", and "Deactivate Assembly Laser", while the lever was labeled as "Activate Portal Mechanism". William noticed another loose panel, which Jared was directed to punch open, leading to a keypad requesting [[Dimensional Index\|dimensional coordinates]] to pop out. Not knowing any codes, William pressed randomly, leading to him accidentally selecting a [[Yetian Dominance Dimension\|dimension where Yetia was the strongest country]], which he cancelled. William thought about writing letters with numbers, prompting Jared to suggest binary code, which William decided to try as he typed in 'Backrooms' in binary, leading to a warped text to speech voice warning them that the selected dimension was unstable, which was presumably correct so they pressed the button. The entire 'facility' shook violently as the control panel (connected to the laser emitter) lighted up as panels broke off thanks to the intensity of the activating hardware, prompting Jared to pull the activate lever, leading to a pink glow at the end of the emitter blasting out a powerful laser ray into the ring, which caused a purple-coloured mist which concentrated into a less opacified purple spiral to appear within the ring as it flashed. More controls appeared on the control panel as 'Import' and 'Export' became available, leading to Sizzle deciding to try pressing 'Import' as sparks flew out of the machine and the previously pink beam began glowing yellow as well. Jared and William floated in the air for a little bit as a red beam now appeared and a mechanical voice proclaimed 'ACTION COMPLETED, EXIT PORTALS FORMING'. The portal solidified as a glimpse of the being seen in the strange dimension they visited earlier appeared and proclaimed [[The Creep\|that Yata would have to repay its debt]]. Sizzlean workers rusheed in to set up infrastructure to begin withdrawing people from the portals as the facility became quickly overwhelmed by all of Humanity making its way back home.

			It was not long until most of Humanity (aside from those which opted to remain in the Backrooms) returned to their planet. Only country leaders retained memories of The Hunger Games, while the people remained none the wiser yet still concerned of if there would be any consequences to this incident.
