	With the Nakmaian Purge ongoing, Luxuria made its next major move internationally by declaring war on Poavak, unifying the Poavak's people under one common cause to fight off their invaders as the nation had been recently struggling with internal disagreements. Luxuria's armies first invaded from Timor into the surrounding islands, quickly capturing all of the Lesser Sunda Islands while Poavak prepared to defend itself. All bridges connecting islands were blown up and blockades were set up in every channel to block naval invasions, though they did not expect Luxuria to attack the Philippines while the aerial and naval battles over Java and Bali's outskirts were still ongoing. Once the Poavakian navy at the Philippines was defeated Luxuria launched an invasion of the islands, prompting Poavak to begin funding communist partisans despite them actively opposing their government as well in an attempt to hold off the enemy. Luxuria didn't see much resistance in the Philippines, as Poavak had launched an invasion of Luxurian Nakmai, taking advantage of its current chaos to sweep across the region and only minimal numbers of Luxurian soldiers being there. Once Luzon fell, Luxuria began advancing its forces towards Borneo via Palawan while the rest of Nakmai fell to the Poavakians. After a brief stalemate, Luxuria managed to break thru Poavak's navy and make its way into Borneo, which was luckily only home to a couple small Poavakian armies. Poavak suddenly outflanked the Luxurians on Borneo to surround them, forcing them to flee to the jungle until they reached another coast as naval battles to secure their escape were ongoing. Poavak began to realise that the war would seemingly never end for either of them if they didn't take a risk, so Poavak decided to take said risk and attack Luxuria's mainland. 			Poavak's armies landed at [[Atherton Beach]] and pushed into Luxuria, leading to significant fighting in the region as the two clashed for control. Luxuria moved to cut off the supplies to this invasion with its navy, prompting the army to freak out and rush towards [[Alice Springs]] in an attempt to cause havoc, which lead to all of them eventually being killed or captured as nearly half of Poavak's army had been wiped out in one battle. With their enemy now weakened, Luxuria launched an attack into Java, first wiping out the navies protecting it before landing, harming Poavak's morale due to how many casualties it faced and now having its enemy on its doorstep as bombs flew down from above. Luxuria soon reached and surrounded the Poavakian capital of [[Jakarta]], trapping the Poavakian government inside as their guards held a last stand at [[Fort Jakarta]] until the Luxurians broke through and fully seized the city, causing panic as [[Nilastan]] opened its borders so people could flee into its land. Angered by the fall of Jakarta, the Communist Partisans the government had been funding broke free from government oversight and launched a revolution to seize power so that they may lead Poavak towards a more successful campaign. Luxuria took advantage of this chaos despite the monarchists now only existing in Nakmai, first failing to attack Borneo before securing several regions of Java from remaining insurgents, failing to attack Borneo again, and then invading the populous island of [[Sumatra]]. Much of Sumatra would soon fall, but [[PR Poavak]] kept fighting on in smaller pockets, leading to the remaining monarchists deciding to surrender and integrate into the PRP so that refugees could continue fleeing to Nilastan, who occupied [[Hoaquc]] in order to manage this. Poavak began preparing counteroffensives while Luxuria prepared to reclaim Nakmai by first wiping out all enemy naval forces around southern Nakmai, prompting Poavak to begin training the Nakmaians to resist invaders. While Poavakian partisans began reclaiming Sumatra Luxuria's war efforts began to slowly grind to a halt. Luxuria pushed up into Nakmai towards [[Phnom Penh]] until it realised how the situation on Sumatra had developed, forcing them to divert their attention. The gangs of Phnom Penh were instructed to turn the city into a fortress of traps and ambushes, leading to Luxuria's attempts to conquer the city turning into a slow crawl, which only worsened as dams were blown up to flood Luxuria's armies along the Mekong. After Luxuria's smallest advances into Nakmai ground to a halt, Poavak launched 'Operation Straitcut' as a massive counteroffensive in Nakmai aided by the partisans, quickly kicking out the tired out Luxurians.

			With the war continuing to go nowhere, Luxuria offered a peace treaty along the current frontlines, prompting Poavak to try to demand all territory back, which was unsuccessful as Luxuria just offered a harsher treaty so Poavak agreed to hand over Java and the Philippines in return for Nakmaian independence. With the [[Lorax]] missing, Nakmai selected [[An Nguyen]] as their new ruler as the first fully independent government took power for the first time in decades. Nilastan claimed it would hand [[Yangoon]] back over once it had completed the necessary restabilization efforts within its borders necessitated by the refugee crisis. After the war, Nakmai began intensive reconstruction and reforestation efforts to recover the damages by the wars and fires. With Jakarta lost, Poavak relocated its capital to the city of [[Kayatra]] which had served as the main point of habitation for the [[Nay'Bling]] [[Fall of Nay'Bling\|refugees]].
