The Maghreb was formed following a union between several precursor states in the region it occupies, coming together in unity to stand as a major world player, alongside the aims of greater economic growth.

Maghreb borders [[Corestias]] and the Atlantic ocean to the west, [[Ellaria]], [[Ahaggar]], [[Aïr]] and [[Bornuvia]] to the south, the [[United Arab Republic]] to the east and the Mediterranean sea to the north.
