Marcus is gullible and childish. He has a very optimistic view of the world, believing that there's good in everyone, and that nobody can ever be bad. Though when Marcus had been insulted by his ex-best friend [[James Smith|James]], Marcus was struck with the realization that maybe not everybody is a good person.

Marcus' obsession over dead bodies derives from him feeling very lonely in Luvamatrilia. If the dead people turn into [[ghosts]], then he can become friends with them, but this is almost never the case. the ghosts always forget about Marcus after meeting him. Making him have no friends in Luvamatrilia.

Marcus becomes easily attached to people that actually remember him for more than a day, like [[Tord Larsson|Tord]] or [[James Smith|James]]. Since then he doesn't feel as lonely. He always wants to talk and hang out with them.<br />
