Following the [[Sixth Swagonian War]], the nation of [[Floppastan]] had been reorganized into the '[[Islamic Emirate of Floppastan]]', with its new government abolishing gender equality, instating sharia law, abolishing democracy, and purging non-Floppaeda politicians. [[Polsk]] was angered by this and sanctioned Floppastan, but Floppastan didn't care about 'Polskan drug money', so Polsk explained it actually made its money from rampant warcrimes and natural resource sales, prompting Floppastan to tell them to leave as Polsk was a hostile unholy nation in their eyes. By the next year, Floppastan was still purging insubordinate politicians, prompting Polsk to demand that they stop which only made Floppastan insult Polsk. Polsk thus sent a battleship to Floppastan's coast, but it was damaged to the point that its engines gave out as it drifted into Floppastani territorial waters, so Floppastan fired on it and sunk it as it issued a 'no tolerance policy' for violations of its territorial waters. As Polsk's seafaring ships were also spaceships the shipmanaged to blast away into space from under the sea, prompting Floppastan to tell them not to come back. Polsk tried to support opposition forces in Floppastan, but most were destroyed already.
