The 'Outer Reaches' of the [[Martian Empire]], roughly 59 Lightyears away from [[Yata]], reported sightings of the '[[Tetraship-Class Destroyer|Pyramid Ships]]' sighted during the [[Battle near Skantos Passage]], leading to Mars and [[Polsk]] militarizing rapidly as Polsk began making a '[[Solarite]] Superweapon' called [[Cybros]], a spacestation using the energy of a star to house millions of soldiers designed to counter [[The Qu]], though Mars was uncertain if this would be effective due to how old [[The Quhanim|the Qu's civilization]] was based on what they could figure out. Mars enacted one of the clauses it had in its protectorate treaty with [[Humans]] signed after the [[Goo-Yatan War]], starting conscription of Yatan/Theian soldiers into the Martian defence forces. Polsk decided to try to find the Qu's homeworld, only for Mars to reveal that they were seemingly nomadic and that they were currently unaware of where any outposts, space stations, or even refuelling stations were currently located. Polsk thus decided to track them down with the Cybros space-station due to how effective its 'subspace scanning' technology was, which Mars wasn't sure would work as they couldn't scan the entire galaxy just to hunt down where some scout ships were refuelling, instead recommending that they stay within Martian territory and build up as well as they could until the enemy revealed themselves. Polsk thus only really scanned the area around the Empire's borders, which appeared to be largely vacant of threats. Polsk tested the Cybros by scanning thru asteroids in the [[Alpha Sol System|Alpha Sol System's]] [[Asteroid Belt]] until it found one that the [[Empire of Yata]] wasn't inhabiting, firing the Cybros' Solarite beam onto the asteroid which obliterated it in a giant firey explosion where most debris was incinerated.
