The '''Puddle''' is a [[Liminal Sub-Space]] within the [[Backrooms System]] that takes the form of a partially submerged city block, with the buildings cutting off below the waterline yet still remaining in a 'levitating' position above the seafloor. The buildings themselves are difficult to access, though they are devoid of resources beyond dry land so access is not necessary. People that travel here are incapable of drowning for unknown reasons, making navigation much safer than it would be, yet the local marine life are regardless highly hostile to intruders making travel regardless hazardous.
