The CRF had enough of [[King Constantine of Choros]]&#039; ineptitude and raided a military barracks, gathering themselves enough weapons to launch a coup that lead to the monarchy fleeing to [[Cyprus]], making [[Castrovalence]] jumpt to 0.053. The Aegean islands quickly revolted and rejoined the monarchy. The Republican hold over the mainland was short lived, as the Peloponnese swiftly fell to the &quot;[[Spartan Army]]&quot; that wished to establish a Chorosian Empire. Soon afterwards, Communist forces rose up in [[Thessaloniki]] and proclaimed the [[People&#039;s Republic of Macedonia]], making Castrovalence jump to 0.067. Tritonia began supporting the Monarchy, allowing it to launch an invasion of Attica until the Spartans suddenly invaded [[Crete]], leading to the &#039;[[Free State of Epirus]]&#039; declaring independence, though this was short lived due to invasions by the CRF and PRM. The Kingdom finally managed to reclaim [[Athens]], successfully holding off against a CRF counterattack. Facing difficulties in the south, the CRF launched an invasion of the PRM which was quite successful as most of the PRM&#039;s western 2/3 were seized. <br /> <br /> The Spartan Army attempted to convince King Constantine to switch to their side and become their future emperor, which he refused, prompting a Spartan attack on Kingdom holdings. While they fought each other, both the Kingdom and Spartans launched a massive advance against the Republicans and Communists, with the PRM capitulating first to the Monarchy as it was soon followed by the CRF being split between the Spartans and Monarchists.
