Linelandic tanks rushed to Melbourne to reclaim it, only for the [[Bass Strait Bridge]] to be sabotaged and blown up while they were in transit which lead to their collapse. Lineland sent 50 thousand additional sooldiers, though many of the forces in Melbourne were forced to flee to Tasmania due to being outnumbered. Taiwanese soldiers captured western Melbourne while Islandia sent its navy to support Luxuria, allowing them to land on Tasmania after the rest of Melbourne fell. Luxuria accidentally deployed Emus into Lineland, which made them retreat to the eastern 1/3 of the island. Lineland kept trying to fight back, but it was still outnumbered so Luxuria kept advancing until it reached Linasburg, kicking Lineland off the island. Lineland begrudgingly agreed to a peace treaty, leading to the Treaty of Saint Shrek in which President [[Nikolai Aksentiev]] of Lineland and Prince [[George Jr. George]] of Luxuria ratified an agreement to legally hand over the regions of Melbourne and Tasmania to Luxuria.
