The government did not want to give up power, causing various arguments Alex III's supporters which called for the reinstatement of monarchy. In an attempt to avoid a civil war the Sizzlean government held a rigged referendum regarding the situation, resulting in Alex III finding out about the situation regardless and marching his supporters into [[Beijing]], swiftly overthrowing the Sizzlean government and installing himself as king.
