Hoping to prevent Irton's attack from succeeding, the Protoss, Zerg, and the Galactic Federation (whom had sent 14 fleets to the area) attacked Char with all they could, especially as corrupted Moebius Foundation forces launched attacks as deep as [[Alpha Centauri]] (though luckily the area didn't have a permanent population yet) and [[Proxima Centauri B]] while landings on Char were only beginning despite Irton's body almost being complete. The [[Cult of Yarren]] attempted to allow Irton to pass through its space due to a hatred of the [[Protoss Empire]] they had acquired during the Pisura27 Sickness Crisis, though this failed as Irton's forces conquered the planet and assimilated thousands. [[Miraak\|Miraak's]] Zerg managed to just bare tear open the Void Energy shield protecting Irton's body, though the various [[Void Creatures]] that Irton had been summoning remained a major threat. Artanis ordered all IDI forces in the area to bombard Irton's body with as much as they could as it still remained vulnerable to damage, causing him to scream out in agony. In the Accord Front, Irtonist forces managed to advance as deep as the outer edges of the [[Alpha Sol System]] before being repelled by local defences. Eventually, Irton's body was destroyed which caused his forces to fall into disarray aside from the corrupted Protoss which were lured onto Char in order to destroy [[the Keystone]] (A weapon capable of clearing entities out of the Khala) which the Protoss Empire had brought to the planet, though before they could do so the Protoss Empire managed to use the weapon and purge Irton's influence out of the Khala, freeing the corrupted Protoss from control (which was made permanent after they were convinced to sever their nerve-cords). Facing devastating losses including thousands of hybrids, Irton pulled his forces back to his own territory allowing for the IDI to proclaim victory as they cleared out all remaining resistance, ending Irton as a threat to the galaxy. 			Miraak claimed that he had felt something in the Late Void 'calling to him' which specifically was not Irton, guessing that it was surviving Xel-Naga which Irton had trapped, prompting the CSIS and Protoss to send a fleet to assist in ending Irton for good. Once the fleet arrived on Ulnar, the Protoss used The Keystone to open a portal to the void, which the fleet entered as it weathered bombardments of Void Energy, Irton's calls, and eventually a voice belonging to [[High Templar Tassadar]] whom had slain [[The Overmind]] on Char. Miraak managed to eventually hunt down Narud's spirit and kill him, allowing him to free the final Xel-Naga which transferred its essence onto Miraak whom thus became a Xel-Naga, allowing Miraak and his allies to destroy the final [[Void Crystals\|void-crystals]] keeping Irton alive.

			With Irton' dead, the Galaxy returned to peace as the remaining Hybrids were freed from his control (with most joining the Hybrid Enclave, leading to a second carrier joining their fleet at the cost of making their excursions more difficult to maintain). Many strange occurrences followed Irton's death, with many uninhabitable worlds such as [[Jupiter\|Jupiter's]] moons, [[Mars]], [[Mar Sara]], [[Harvest]], the devastated [[Blarg]] worlds, [[Pisura]], the damaged planets in [[Terria]] and [[Zerg]], among many others showing signs of recovering from their past damages iunexplicably. Some Hybrids remained unaligned with any faction, causing some chaos over being unaware of what to do with their existence.{{History}}

	HAWK had previously put significant attention onto the Zergs, allowing it to now notice that the 'will' guiding them had changed from a corrupting/controlling force to someone new seemingly following the will of the Zergs themselves. HAWK launched some experiments to see if it could influence Zergs via psionic stimulations, though HAWK's own ability to communicate via the Noosphere was quite limited (due to being an artificial intellignece), with the recipient needing to already be skilled enough to do so as well to catch HAWK's emitted thoughts, which was also why HAWK didn't use it for long-range communications due to being interceptable. HAWK's experiments lead to the drone responsible being found by other Zergs (who were attracted to major 'psionic hotspots') whom destroyed it.		While HAWK was researching [[Birth of the Hybrid Enclave\|a collection of Protoss-Zerg Hybrids it had captured]], HAWK noted that the only records it had of the species prior to recently were 'legends' among the Protoss which described them as harbingers of the apocalypse according to a prophecy engraved by their gods on the unknown space planet of Ulaan. HAWK decided to investigate this planet, sending 5 Type-2 HAWK Craft which scanned for any kind of artificial activity and structures, locating 3 temples underneath its crust, though during these scans a extremely advanced Protoss stealth-ship known as the 'Voidseeker' (which was roughly 'fighter sized') arrived in the system around the same time that the psionic frequencies of Protoss and especially Zerg began being detected, prompting HAWK to hide its crafts in the system's asteroid belt as to avoid detection while a group of Type-1 HAWK Crafts fully mapped the planet. The Voidseeker descended into Ulaan's caverns and unlocked 'psionic-seals' containing the Temples while the Zerg infested the planet, wiping out all Protoss forces aside from the Voidseeker which left to the Protoss world of Zhakul unscathed after 2 hours. HAWK was justifyably concerned by the presence of something prophecised to bring about a galaxy-wide apocalypse, secretly relaying a message to the Protoss leadership recommending them to take immediate action against the threat on Zhakul, prompting the Protoss to send over an army and a fleet.

	~~HAWK decided to cease its research into the Zerg for now, but uncovered~~ a ~~strange oddity where Zerg and Protoss DNA appeared to be compatible despite being clearly very distinct beings, prompting HAWK to combine both~~ of ~~their genomes into an artificial growth apparatus in the Containment System to see what would happen, leading to the creation of the first 'Zerg-~~Protoss ~~Hybrids', highly powerful sapient beings capable of incredible feats such as mind~~-control. HAWK analysed their behaviour by guiding them thru the facility from the room they woke up in (containing a monitor showing landscapes) towards a biodome, learning that they appeared to be fairly passive thanks to only now learning their motor skills despite being in mature forms, leading to a couple-week-long learning period following which they were given riddles which they found easy. In response to encountering animals, one of the Hybrids consumed one via assimilation which they others didn't like, though afterwards none of them seemed to react to any kind of animal aside from simply studying them. HAWK began training them to interact with the world while also giving them nutritional packages to eat. Once a Zerg ~~was let into the biodome, the~~ Hybrids ~~quickly mind-controlled~~ it ~~in a similar fashion to how The Overmind~~ had ~~previously ruled over the Zerg Collective.~~
