Sizzle invaded Minguo rapidly without them having the time to muster a proper defence as well as invading Yakamoto&#039;s mainland at the same time. Minguo collapsed quite quickly, while Yakamoto desperately tried to fight back. An unknown nation began supporting Yakamoto&#039;s efforts under the promise that it would reveal itself once Sizzle was pushed out. With the Yakamotian front stalling, Sizzle launched a surprise invasion of [[Turkestan]], [[Sozzle]], and [[Anakistan]] in an attempt to reclaim its western lands. This attack would invoke Lineland&#039;s defence treaty with Turkestan and Anakistan, prompting its intervention into the war.<br /> <br /> As its north was invaded rapidly by Lineland&#039;s armies, Sizzle evacuated from Yakamoto as it prepared to defend. Sizzle offered white peace, but Lineland refused, leading to Sizzle pressing its western advance as Sozzle was capitulated and forced back into its original borders. Yakamoto and Taiwan took advantage of Sizzle&#039;s &#039;distraction&#039; and invaded Minguo and the Ryukyu Islands. Lineland charged into Minguo, connecting with the Yakamotians and cutting off a large Sizzlean army which was promptly destroyed. Lineland launched &#039;Operation Azure Fire&#039; as its armies rushed to surround the Sizzlean capital of Beijing, prompting Yakamoto and Taiwan to attack Sizzle&#039;s major ports to gain a more favourable peace. [[Beijing]] was successfully encircled and captured with all of Sizzle&#039;s government inside, leading to the remnants of Sizzle devolving into infighting as no clear leadership emerged. Major cities such as [[Wuhan]] and [[Canton]] were quickly swept up as all authority in Sizzle broke down, allowing the [[Republic of Badakhshan]] (which joined [[Synora]] after the war), [[Bai Republic]] (which joined [[Nakmai]] after the war), [[Republic of New Sizzle]], and [[Second Republic of Utsong]] to revolt and break free from Sizzlean rule.
