Now organized against their bourgeois oppressors, the [[Provisional Socialist Republic of Lineland]] was proclaimed in [[Anadyr]], quickly spreading outwards as sympathetic militias joined their ranks. [[Nakmai]] and [[Yamalia]] began supporting the socialists after being ensured that the PSRL was homophobic. [[Alinya]] (under the pressure of the [[Anakistan Region]]) and [[Cotunauinia]] were the first to begin offering help to the [[Linelandic Federation]], soon being joined by [[Asophania]], [[Drenemoria]], and [[Tritonia]]. SRL forces captured [[Petropavlovsk]] before pushing to the outskirts of [[Yakutsk]], only to be pushed out once they captured [[Vanino]] (which was then renamed to Khabarovsk). Anti-Socialist insurrections broke out in SRL held lands, most notably in Anadyr. Seeing the communists as a way to achieve better representation, the [[Socialist Republic of Mongolia]] and [[Socialist Republic of Manchuria]] rose up in rebellion, promptly attacking and capturing [[Irkutsk]].<br /> <br /> Having greatly strengthened their position, the Socialists launched a second assault on Yakutsk, which succeeded as the [[Rus Alliance]] deemed this a lost cause and withdrew support at the same time as the Linelandic government was using its army to try to intimidate Yamalia into withdrawing support. Seeing as their distraction had already caused damage, Lineland attempted to fully commit to the Yamalian operation as it launched an unsuccessful attack towards [[Katryk]] which was foiled before it went anywhere, leading to significant casualties. This defeat lead to the near total collapse of the Federal Government as the Socialists captured all but the outermost reaches of the nation. As their victory seemed imminent, the Socialist Republics of Lineland, Mongolia, and Manchuria unified into the [[Union of Linelandic Socialist Republics]] consisting of the [[Manchurian Linelandic Socialist Republic]], [[Inner Mongolian Linelandic Socialist Republic]], [[Mongolian Linelandic Socialist Republic]], [[Ural Linelandic Socialist Republic]], [[Siberian Linelandic Socialist Republic]], and [[Far Eastern Linelandic Socialist Republic]].
