			#The reason why the Skantos Rework made them all quite Asian-inspired is because the Minecraft Map of Skantos on the MC Server already had a bunch of signs and chests w/items in Mandarin ever since it was added (as the creator of the map had done so), therefore it felt like a fairly natural place to start to make the place more interesting rather than generic fantasy. Since it's asian-inspired and fantasy, ofc it's very obvious that Avatar: The Last Airbender was my main inspiration since it's one of the only fantasy media i really enjoy, and is Asian-inspired itself. Tho i will not Skantos isn't meant to be a 1-1 'yata version' of ATLA, it was just the inspiration for the base frame that i'll over time add depth to (as is my usual process, get inspired by something, make a Yatafied version of something, over time add enough complexity that it becomes nearly completely distinct from its originator)

I think i've mentioned how they can only really be 'killed' via one specific point or else they regenerate bc their outer body isn't really a physical part of them in the same was as a organic lifeform's, and how they're "kinda artificial-ish but not really because they naturally appeared at somepoint despite kinda functioning more like artificial lifeforms than organic ones". i think i mentioned how coalescents function at somepoint which is that varinns when born don't really have individuality and are instead weird glowy freaks that speak gibberish, act like one collective, and do a series of arbitrary duties which the otherwise strict caste-based varinn society can't really do anything about until they 'mature' and get conformed into 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐘. i think i explained that with the Wabbolans' expedition since they aren't on the frontlines of the occupied area. and also mentioned how all of their colony worlds are basically uninhabitable to most species  - i illuded to that actually in some other war int he past forgot whidh one (may of been the war with galcom vs galfed?) where alot of the planets in the area near northern galfed and 12suns kinda suck resource wise? elsewhere i've described that in ancient times varinns and pre-collapse sollurian empire were enemies (atleast on the ancient history wikipage i forgot if i've mentioned it in news station lol) so the reason why there's less life-sustaining planetrs in the gamma quadrant is bc varinn at somepoint cfontrolled more of that area and fucked up a bunch of them. not really that relevant to anything but ig it's an explanation as to why there's so many little societies in the southern half of the galaxy other than our bias for things near humanity. several of the little details from the great galactic wars period in the 510s were illuding to the Varinns as a new threat, foreshadowing YAY. thank you varinn for being enough of a blank slate despite ur size for me to use as the next threat before like mid 2025 the whole idea behind them was completely different but i never really used therm alot and never explained any of it so i could retrofit them into something a little mor einteresting than 'its like the galfed but secretly evil as all the other members are conditioned into being controlled by the main leader species'.

			#The 'Post-Sollurians' are somewhat a reference to the Roman Empire, with the og Sollurians being the latins, then when the empire collapses the Romance people divide and come back together with the GalFed/GalCon in the place of the EU. You can think of the the 12-suns as maybe the Iberians, the Core as the Italians/French and the ones conquered by Varinn as the Romanians, but that's kinda post-creation ideas. None of these 'references' are taken into account in culture lol i based alot of the GalCon species culture on China as an inspiration with alot of made up stuff as an extension.
