	Following the [[Saharian Civil War]], the Tuareg states that arose from Saharia's ashes were already in a fairly unstable state, now leading to the region erupting into chaos as the Talahaq Armed Forces rose against its government after occupying the city of Sayilaji alongside the Kel Ahaggar Clan of Tuaregs and 'Tuareg Unionists' who wished to unify the two Tuareg republics. While initially very successful, a detachment of TAF forces broke away under Warrani H. Umaru and began fighting for their own cause by invading Agadez alongside the Kel Ayr Clan, various Monarchists, and the Tuareg Unitarians who wished to reorganize the two states into being centralized polities. While Umari's Forces saw significant initial success, the Agadez Unitarian Army soon broke off and formed their own republican faction aiming to conquer Agadez. Taking advantage of this chaos, the African Communist Entente (mainly Hausaland and Volta alongside local partizans) intervened in the conflict and invaded to spread socialism, allowing Bornuvia and the Saharian Republic in Exile to cross back into former Saharian territory from the east in order to reclaim it. Each of the 6 factions vying for control in the chaos fought one another desperately, though despite this neither side managed to gain an upper hand before a stalemate set in. 			After 11 years of stalemates, the war started to kick back in as Agadez and the Unitarians both attempted to reclaim the city of [[Agadez (City)\|Agadez]] itself from the Restorationists, forcing many Restorationist forces to flee into [[Jeriya]] to avoid capture, which only made Jeriya intervene on the side of the Unitarians to expel them after they refused to leave. Jeriya managed to deal a series of major defeats to Bornuvia as it attacked south, forcing Bornuvia to agree to an armistice where it agreed to never enter Jeriya again and allow them to occupy the de jure Bornuvian [[Aouzou Strip]]. [[Malakia]] signed a treaty with Bornuvia where they joined forces against Hausaland, attacking Volta's supplylines to them, prompting Volta to launch an attack into [[Bamako]] in order to avenge their defeat. The Unitarians slowly began seeing success in the Battle of Agadez despite Agadez Confederation, Umaruist, and Restorationist attacks, while to the west Talahaq began seeing major success against the TAF. Umaru's forces launched a major offensive to intervene properly in the Battle of Agadez, leading to the destruction of the Unitarians as they fled into Jeriya just as the city was captured by Umaru. Jeriya vowed to restore the Unitarians, invading Umaru's territories, though despite their best efforts they met a catastrophic defeat in the battle of Afassa which forced them back into Jeriya where Umaru gave them chase until they surrendered. Malakia managed to defeat the Voltan incursion, promptly signign peace once they were expelled from their country. Hausaland and the remaining Voltan expeditionaries launched an offensive against Bornuvia in order to knock them out of the war, though this failed as Bornuvia refused to surrender which prompted Hausaland to proclaim the '[[People's Republic of Bornuvia]]' in an attempt to gather local support, leading to many Bornuvian socialists rallying under the PRB. Facing a major socialist uprising, Bornuvia accepted the surrender agreement and withdrew from former Saharia so that it could crush the revolt, which was now being supported by both Hausaland and the previously neutral [[Darfur]]. With Hausa forces moving to occupy [[Inner Saharia]], Umaru decided to do the same has his forces proclaimed that the 'protection rite of the Inner Sahar Tuaregs from the communist menace must be assured'. As Umaru had largely occupied former Agadez, Talahaq launched a major attack on Hausaland's capital of Alshqati in an attempt to knock out one of its enemies so that it could move to restore Agadez, though this ended in a costly failure as they were cut off and destroyed. Taking advantage of this Talahaq defeat, the TAF and its new Ortilian allies launched a surprise offensive southwards which led to the destruction of the Talahaq Republic (which the TAF reorganized into the 'Confederation of Kel Ahaggar') and the remaining forces of the Confederation of Agadez. To the east, the Darfur-backed PRB and Bornuvia agreed to cease their hostilities in return for both sides returning to their national borders, while to the west Hausaland and Umaru also agreed on peace which saw Wararni H. Umaru proclaim the "[[Sultanate of Aïr]]".
