			The most recent case of major conflict involving the Varinn Empire was the [[Community-Varinn War]], a 14-year-long conflict that followed an attack on the Empire by Galactic Community forces which though that the Varinns were going to attack them, leading to a initial phase of the conflict where the Empire held an upper hand and advanced deep into the Galaxy, before being pushed back and forced into an uneasy peace after Community forces had destroyed most of Neirn.
