All of the sudden in 270, a fleet of 90 Covenant ships arrived in the Alpha Sol System and launched a surprise attack on Theia, sending ground forces into Polsk, the Theian Republic, and an unclaimed area north of Uchtadaryo as they bombarded Polsk and its allies while Theia's once peaceful skies were filled with clashing spacecrafts. Polsk's fleet was still on its way to help fight off the invasion, forcing the TR and Polsk to fight back on their own against the invaders which saw them as the biggest threats to claiming the System for themselves. Polsk's colonies on other Alpha Sol System planets were attacked while 130 Polskan ships warped in to fight back the invaders, who had recruited another 100 ships as reinforcements. Polsk tried to recruit the Theian Republic directly into the Theian Defence Pact, but they refused due to Polsk bombing them with nukes during the Second Polskan-Republican War, claiming that they only didn't respond due to the YNF stopping the war. Covenant forces attacked Ingalina and marched towards (and later paradropping near) the TR's Military HQ and Capital Building while killing and destroying everything in their paths. Covenant forces also launched attacks into Dina, Osania, and Isernotaria by bombarding them with spacecrafts designed to drill into the ground. A Polskan ship was shot down and crashed into multiple Covenant ships to take them down, while Polsk shot down a Covenant ship over Theia City. Covenant forces were seen drilling into Polsk's mountains (which confused the TR) before launching a massive offensive into the country with 2 million soldiers while Polsk desperately tried to defend itself and its capital despite their shipyards being obliterated by pulling in all outdate equipment (and even retrofitting non-military vessels) and beginning mass conscription to hold the front while Special Operations teams captured a Covenant captain from a damaged ship. Covenant forces entered New Warsaw and launched a brutal siege where both sides desperately fought for victory, meanwhile Polsk managed to achieve a decisive victory over the Covenant Fleet above Karlsfell which allowed them to gain aerial superiority. With even more Polsk ships arriving, the Covenant began evacuating with their remaining ships as their ground forces dispersed and faced significant casualties, eventually setting up a forward operations base on Pluto to recuperate. With the enemy gone, Polsk recruited the Karina Dynasty to begin repairs across the damaged parts of Theia. Polsk tried to get the TR to fire its nukes on Pluto as it had used all of its own destroying Covenant ships, but the TR didn't have any with enough range so Polsk unsuccessfully tried to get Sozzle to do it despite being a microstate.
In 271, a Polskan attack fleet approached Pluto to expel the Covenant base, prompting a Covenant response fleet to emerge from Pluto's moon of Kerberos. Polsk's battlecruisers came into firing range and launched their missiles while the Covenant responded with its plasma torpedoes, leading to an exchange of fire that lasted for several minutes as the distance between the two fleets closed. Once they got close, a chaotic battle ensued as Covenant ships flew above and fired their 'Fracking Beam' while the TSS Harbinger fired its 'Yamato Cannon' as the Covenant capital ship, forcing it to fall back behind Pluto. Polsk asked the Theian Republic to surprise attack the enemy, but the TR wasn't available. Two Polskan ships broke through the battle and began dropping ground forces onto Pluto's surface while the countless bases on the surface fired onto them alongside smaller ships and a few larger Covenant ships. The battle continued above as ships of both sides were destroyed and pulled onto Pluto's surface in massive explosions, with these battles continuing for days until Polsk eventually manages to achieve victory and force The Covenant out of the Alpha Sol System while they gave chase. Both of these early engagements led to significant losses as 50-60 Million Polskan civillians and 19 Million soldiers were killed and many ships were destroyed or damaged, with 60 Behemoth Classes destroyed and 50 damaged, 120 destroyed Mammoth Classes and 10 damaged, all 90 Super Mammoth Classes destroyed, 90 destroyers destroyed, all 56 carriers destroyed, 38 battleships destroyed (leaving 12), 25 converted battleships destroyed (leaving 1), 104 frigates destroyed, all 44 stealth frigates destroyed, all 110 exploratory ships destroyed, 9000 tanks destroyed, 30 thousand drop ships destroyed, and 50 thousand fighters destroyed, forcing Polsk to enter a very long reconstruction process as it set up a listening post on Pluto, which was now being orbited by rings made of destroyed ships.
