Living Stars are an unusual anomalous species of gargantuan proportions, as they are actual stars that somehow have self-awareness and cognitive thought. Some of them are even able to move around on their own will, although this is fairly uncommon. While the reason behind their consciousness is unknown, the most common proposals include the likes of cosmic string networks functioning as some-sort of brain within them.
