After the Imperial Council hijacked a broadcasting tower in England and began spewing out 'Human Chauvinist' propaganda, the Shadow Department (England's domestic security service) appeared to become become entranced and 'know what it must do'. First-Minister Raymond Pearce took notice of a plot among the Shadow Department and attempted to dissolve them, but failed as the Shadow Department got to him first, kicking him out of power and replacing him with a figure simply referred to as 'The Leader' under the newly unbanned 'Party of English Socialism', promptly dissolving The English Right party to remove all opposition before making a cryptic broadcast to the world about 'sacrificing security' to act as a sanctuary for the 'coming storm'. The CSIS sent ships above England and agents down to the surface to investigate, though little was discovered aside from vague reports of England 'making a sanctuary' to hide from a 'Shadow Empire' even if everything seemed fairly normal aside from a very large police presence. England claimed to be aware of the CSIS' intrusion, prompting the two to talk as England was willing to share information, explaining how it believed the Imperial Council made the broadcasts, thus they were barricading themselves to save its sovereignty from a war it apparently know was coming which would lead to significant deaths. The CSIS claimed the IC wouldn't have its way, which England didn't believe as it thought the IC was several steps ahead, plotting a new world order in the dark beyond the reach of the CSIS and its allies with only minor mistakes being known to the CSIS, stating that it had come to believe that the Shadow Empire Conspiracy was true. | After the Imperial Council hijacked a broadcasting tower in England and began spewing out 'Human Chauvinist' propaganda, the Shadow Department (England's domestic security service) appeared to become become entranced and 'know what it must do'.
