The Machine Saga is a three-part story written in the form of "Log entries" that explores the accelerated ascension of the rather limited system ASNIR to the full and true artificial Intelligence SCION. Over the course of the stories this is achieved through having the protagonist need to overcome several challenges such as a Segnosian coup of its systems and later an attack on it by a far more powerful foe, the aggressor of the Galactic-HAWK war.
In its efforts it is assisted by a "Task-" and later "Regional Management Process" of the HAWK superintelligence.
The first two books are written from the perspective of this outer force, detailing the events as "Log entries" describing the internal thoughts of the Machines. The last book "Machine over Chaos" is written from the perspective of the SCION intelligence themselves due to events transpiring at the end of the second book. It however also uses mainly Log entries with the intermittent descriptive text where appropriate.
