Khejvans are an intelligent species native* to the planet Vorukt'ja located in Grid M11 of the Milky Way's Inner Core within the bounds of Khian Lijani, similarly being a descendant of the extinct Sollurians much like the other members of Khian Lijani. Khejvans have a fairly standard humanoid frame with a central torso, two arms, two legs, and a head with hair on top. Khejvans have pale purple skin adorned with hardened yellow markings, though due to their homeworld's fairly hospitable climate and lack of predators their markings are among the 'least hardened' of the Post-Sollurians as a whole, though for the same reasons they are physically fairly weak without the usage of external equopment or aids to substitute for their weaker muscular structure.

Culturally, the Khejvans are known as the most 'structured' and 'bureaucratic' of the four members of the Khian Lijani, greatly valuing service to society as a whole as the highest honour one is capable of performing. Due to this belief, Khejvans are have organized themselves in a more statist manne than the othersr where social harmony is expected and enforced by a unelected caste of bureaucrats which rise to their position of influence by passing notoriously complex entry exams, and occupy a majority of the positions of local leadership on Khejvan-inhabited worlds. This structure has been present ever since the early beginnings of their society, with the vast plains of their homeworld where competition and threats were minimal allowing them to advance their societal cohesion much quicker than if they had to fear external threats, allowing them to extend their system of 'scientific governance' they called "Khae'ja" (meaning Structure of the World) onto other worlds as they expanded into space thousands of years in the past, incorporating many other less developed Post-Sollurian cultures they were still genetically similar enough with to incorporated into their society before reaching their current borders marked by areas where other species such as the Zolians and Echetchens had done the same as they had under a different societal structure. Eventually after many millennia of peaceful coexistence and cooperation, Khae'ja unified with Echqatja (home of the Echetchens), Qhal-Zol (home of the Zolians), and Xan (home of the Khervi) to form the First Galactic Federation, which would later become the extant Khian Lijani a few centuries later now solely encompassing the four founder-societies within which the 'Khae'jan Collective' continues to exist as a core component. Notably, the Federation's capital of Algol was initially a notably developed Khejvan colony, where they still make up a plurality (roughly ~45%) of the population, similarly Khejvans continue to make up a majority of Khian Lijani's civil servants.
