Yetia complained to Doge that he was quite useless, using the example of Quatritonia's use of the Laser Tower Array in the Quatritonian-Yetian War as a notable example. Doge explained that doing anything on Yata was not his job, as his only actual task was to repair Yata's diplomacy with extrasolar civilizations which appeared to hate them for unknown reasons. He revealed that there were millions of civilizations within the universe with their own species, and that many of these had begun to hate Yata which he had to fix, warning Yetia that all they need to do is let him know if they see something that 'doesnt belong on Yata'. Yetia asked for examples, but was only told vague descriptors of colour such as big and black 'shapeshifters', gray people, and red people. Lineland and Sipedro initially thought the shapeshifters may be the 'Changelings' they had spotted a few years prior emerging from Spisos, though Doge clarified he was talking about something else which didn't have a name in any human language, deciding that 'Space Giraffes' was the best approximate he could think of, explaining how they had visited Yata 'thousands of years ago'. Yetia continued its questioning, learning that there were also plenty of 'robot societies' and that the 'Ugandan Knuckles' were among the aliens which hated Yata.

The New Sizzlean Empire developed a device to fake the communications of other countries, first testing it out by imitating the YNF in order to incite concern. The NSE then decided to sell this device to the NLE, who used it to fake Spisos being unusually cooperative (which let to them freaking out and screaming) and to fake Hongerswak asking to join the empire (which they responded to by also screaming). The NSE then got sidetracked and began buying weapons from countries, with Sipedro being hesitant and Lustland being ignored after it offered to give weapons in exchange for sex. The NLE ended up being the one who actually sold them guns due to their extreme wealth. Despite its difficulties at convincing Sipedro to like it, the NSE managed to convince Sipedro to 'ignore europe'.

Lineland remembered that the Second Yetian Empire had claimed to have multiple allies beyond merely the Third Sizzlean Empire, which Sipedro also found concerning. The most likely candidate they thought was their ally was the Waclaw Empire, though they regardless decided to confirm this further by asking all Chungus allies to identify themselves, leading to the people of Greenland and two unidentified locations to claim to be allies. Sipedro initially decided against trying to make them reveal themselves immediately, but soon decided to go through with it anyway.
