With Uriankhai in chaos, Yakamoto and its two protectorates of Kitayato and Meninguo decided to intervene. Unluckily for Yakamoto, Khuree Uls was ruled by Googas Khan, a masterful strategist who fought back relentlessly against the invaders, even pushing into Meninguo. Meninguo sent its army south to try to defeat the Khuree Uls army, but ended up encircled and destroyed. Though, Meninguo soon found the cause of Khuree Uls' success as they found that Yetia had been supplying them with weapons, prompting Yakamoto to angrily confront Yetia over meddling in Asian affairs, which Yetia explained as deserved as Yakamoto had signed the 'Baghdad Accord' designed to oppose Yetia.
