After its collapse in the Third Linelandic-Yetian War, Lineland was left in an uneasy peace as none of the warlords actively fought each other at first until 3 years after the collapse. The first conflict was within the Yuzhno State as its reluctance to cooperate with the Anti-Luxuria Coalition inspired a revolt within its territory as Yakamotian militants overthrew the regime to establish the State of Kitayato.
