The Bureau for the Research of Sufist Artifacts (BRSA) was an Anomalous Research Department directly under the command of the Synoristani Government with the aim to collect and utilize anomalous artifacts within Synoristan and surrounding nations. It was founded following the initial revolutionary government of Synora under Shuja Chechi being dissolved, and replaced by the national populist directive under Qatadah Vangani, who ordered BRSA's formation. Once Synoristan was occupied and dissolved by Nilastian forces BRSA likely fell apart alongside it, with its remaining members joining other similar organizations.

Although BRSA had been granted many resources by the Synoristani Government, its overall capabilities were limited by its internal policy disagreements between the various individuals responsible for its management. Despite this BRSA was fairly influential, and had been deemed capable of covertly operating within neighboring nations.

Unlike many other organizations pursuing the same field as itself, BRSA didn't really care about maintaining secrecy of paranormal entities and objects, rather it was more focused on protecting and advancing Synoristan's Anomalous Capabilities.
