As the Second Linelandic-Yetian War came to a close Europe was not yet free of conflict as Yetia turned its gaze upon the Free State of North Italy which had seceded, launching a full-scale invasion to reclaim the territory. North Italy struggled to hold off, with the only source of aid being donations by the inhabitants of southern Italy, as negotiations to receive support from Hongerswak and Sarpistan were quite unsuccessful.
