Agadez is a city located in the Republic of the Tuaregs within the Yatan Commonwealth's Arab-Saharan Cooperative, being one of the lightly-populated Republic's largest cities thanks to its vital position in the trans-saharan inland trade routes. Agadez was briefly the capital of an emponymous state calling itself the 'Confederation of Agadez' until 306, in which it was reorganized into the Sultanate of Aïr.
