Both West and East Tritonia began to garner more strength and expand their arsenals, threatening to make any conflict much deadlier than it would have been. As the largest breakthrough in this arms race, East Tritonia built the Aral Laser Array as the largest laser system yet to be constructed. After charging up all of their towers, East Tritonia launched their first test of the device began as all the Eastern lazers fired at the West Tritonian towers, bouncing back and forth between both factions until the overcharged lazers were all simultaneously redirected to the Aral Array
