Doria is a large terrestrial planet located in Deep Space, well beyond the reaches of the Outer Rim, separated by a region of unknown space. It orbits the Milky Way distantly, and is part of its Alpha Quadrant. A secluded world, Doria is the homeworld of the near-human Dorian species, who hold the location of the planet secret. However, Doria itself is no secret - having embedded itself in the mythos and folklore of faraway nations thanks to the powerful, nomadic Dorians, who travel across the galaxy distributing their blessings. This earnt them the sobriquet of "Dorian demigods." As the planet is shrouded in mystery it is to an extent deific on its own, existing only within belief to the wider galaxy. Doria holds only a very small population, owing to the transient nature of its inhabitants.
Doria is a planet well-attuned to nature, with vegetation covering almost everywhere except small settlements, ice caps, and grand temples across the jungles and grasslands. This is due to Doria's day-night cycle being nearly three times faster than Yata. As a result, many plants evolved to use less energy as they receive less before nightfall, giving them the ability to "stockpile" significant amounts of energy for growth. This has been suggested for the planet's unnatural attunement to orgone energy, and likely the source of the Dorians' power.
Well-known people that hail from Doria include Sakura Sakamoto, her twin Psychotria, her older sister Wisteria and their mother Camellia.
