CIS makes contact with the Order
After receiving warnings of a incoming extrasolar threat at the end of the Miranda Investigation, CSIS Begins preparing for all our war. Their anti-cloak countermeasures have been finished, and are currently being tested. It's an advanced computer that detects warped visual light (from the cloaked ship) as well as increased engine emissions from ship thrusters in space to be able to detect cloaked ships. They begin producing more ships, 4 more behemoth classes are ordered. Several more carriers.
'Order Communicators' Package
As part of the constant CSIS surveillance they discover some behavioral changes. Wille Hammet has stopped tending to his blog. He now regularly "patrols" the ship but seems to make sure that he is always being captured by security systems. His attire has also changed from the casual look into a more formal suit. Overall his whole walk style and posture seem to have changed into a more confident look, showing just how deep this role of ex-member really affected him. Eda Lamb is working on her pc, which on inspection and infestation has proven to be just a normal laptop with no modifications other than better performance parts. She definitely knows that all her actions are being monitored but seems to tolerate it. Her current task seems to be removing used assets as she is pretty deliberately removing any possible traces online to the “Order of contactors”. Other than that she spends time on her watch, being pretty careful to not reveal what she is doing to the cameras. Even the hidden ones. One day the security cameras pick both up heading towards one of the onboard storage bays.

They are quickly detained. As they both arrive on the entrance to the cargo bay they wait until security comes to them. When the forces arrive both of them state that there is a package waiting for them. When the cargo index is checked it actually shows a standard cargo box being registered for use of "Order Communicators". It seems to have arrived with the latest supply run though it's uncertain if it was already registered under its current function.

Security says "how the hell did you get a package on board this ship?"

"It was sent to us. It contains everything we need for our new role as well as I think some information regarding the coming enemy."

"May we access it?"

"Open it."

They proceed into the cargo bay and move directly towards the box in question. It seems to be an ordinary cargo box locked with a RFID lock.

Eda puts her watch over the lock. An unlocking symbol is shown on the display and the lock opens. Inside the box on the right side are two smaller caskets stacked on top of eachother. Each one has one of their names carved into its top left corner. On the left side of the box there are a few carefully packaged data drives and a small black cube with dark green linings on the edges.

"The things on the right are for us, the ones on the left for you and your ship."

The captain comes down and takes the data drives and inspect them

"They seem compatible with our ship."

"What's in them?"

"I mainly requested translation data on the intruding species, plus as much additional data on them as we know ourselves."

"Intruding?"

"Please clarify, were those your ships during the Acolytian incident and Z-62 recovery?"

"In some way, yes. Though more the former than the latter."

"And the ship in the outer belt isn't yours?"

The captain hands the data packs to an engineer who installs them.

"We are working together now?"

"Yes."

"Well that explains a lot."

"And that incident outside the solar system."

"Was that, the Acolytians?"

"I think it'll be more clearer after the arranged meeting."

"I think you already know its location."

A report comes in that there is activity at one of the stated "emergency contact points". The one on Theia to be precise.

"Now, If you'll excuse us, we need to change into proper attire. Would you mind if we borrowed one of your transport boards to get these into our cabins"

She point at the caskets.

"Go."

"Thanks very much. Oh, that black cube is an auxiliary computer which as a bonus also provides limited coordination with our ships and designates the ship or station it is connected to as a Communicator vessel, a VIP of sorts. So you might want to consider which ship or station you want us both stationed on."

"Oh, yeah, don't try to open it."

They load the caskets onto a flatbed and transport them to their quarters. Each one takes their own one into their cabin. The placed surveillance equipment in both quarters goes offline.

No attempt is made to bring them back online.

The Jupiter charts a course for Theia. The box is hooked to the Jupiters computers, With the Jupiters modifications, it's a pretty good command ship.

The engineers hook the black box, though with some concerns, up to the computer of the CSS Jupiter. On the captains monitor on the bridge a simple UI pops up.

Yes.

The command system list shows new types of control configurations added as an option to bind to the customizable control panels. The communications screen now features a new tab labelled: OA Com. The captain accesses it OA Com. Bridge crew begin binding new controls. The OA coms screen has the same layout as all the other communication systems. However, it only features a single set frequency to chose from. It is able to relay text and command instructions.

The captain types "This is Captain Bergenson of the CSS Jupiter, communications test."

A response follows, in mere seconds.

Test Successful. Greetings Captain Bergenson. CSS Jupiter registered as Communicator Vessel.

The implanted data disc are read. The translation software takes up the new language details. The rest seem to contain partially tactical, partially cultural information on the so called "Trigals";

Tactical Information: From what is known their fighting style revolves a lot around ambushes in which they take on smaller forces, strategically weakening their opponents systems using Piercer class ships and then following up with a barrage of missiles from their Devastator class. The Swarmkeeper class fills the role as a combat support ship with the fighter wing being used as both an offensive and defensive tool.
