Vladimir Alsanov was a Yamalian Aristocrat who gained power after Yamalia's monarchist coup, notably disliking the leadership of Tank. When Abyysky invaded he became the leader of the monarchist resistance against them and eventually set up the Kingdom of Katryk once Abyysky collapsed. He participated in a party in Hanoi leading to Tank beating him up. He went back to Yamalia and seized back control of Katryk. He eventually managed to negotiate a deal with Tank and they stopped hating eachother ont he condition Vladimir was able to take down Tank if he became corrupt again in Yamalia. After Danya became the ruler of Yamalia Vladimir attempted to take him down, although failed due to him only being allowed to do this against tank. He moved to Lineland and eventually worked his way into briefly becoming their tsar, though the Elmoists seized control and re-established Abyysky and executed Vladimir.
