The Astathea system is a degenerate star system within the Mid Rim regions of the Empyrium. It is one of a few inhabited black hole systems in the Milky Way and, although unverified, is likely the most populous of its kind. One known planet orbits the Astathea singularity - Centuria - but it is thought that hundreds if not thousands of planetary mass objects are gravitationally bound to Astathea.
