The People's Socialist Federation of Choros, more commonly known as simply Choros, is a sovereign socialist republic located in the south-east of Europe. Choros has a population of 28.9 Million, and it borders Shqiperia and Jugoslavija to the north and Alduria to the east. Choros is among one of the oldest still existing nations on Yata, being first established in 66, with the only significant interruptions to this being its membership in The Confederacy and the occasional occupations by foreign powers.
Politics and Government
Choros is a Presidential Socialist Republic currently led by General-Secretary Yiannis Mikolos of the Communist Party of Choros, whom acts as both Head of State and Head of Government. The legislature of Choros is named the 'People's Assembly' and consists of democratically elected representatives from across the nation.
Choros itself is a federal republic composed of several subnational states, each with some degree of autonomy which grants them their own local governanance.
